Fairly Old Skool pub. You won't find The Youth of Today in here, but likely to be a handful of Thirtysomethings in the lounge and the older regulars in the bar. No music, great place for a good aul chat or to duck in for a quiet one. First pub that me and my mates started drinking in and still go back every now and then, hasn't changed a whole lot. Comfy and warm - none of that new fangled style decor - but also clean and, critically, always serves Carlsberg at just the right temperature, nice and cold!! Never that busy really so pretty much guaranteed a seat. Has a big screen for sports but even then doesn't get too busy, just enough for a good atmos but not too stuffy. Does lunch during the week and always a toasted cheese and ham on offer.
